철스퍼거들이 넘치는 닛뽕
전국민이 철스퍼거가 아닐꺼 의심될 정도로 일본인들은 철도에 있어서는 자신들이 세계 1위라고 믿으며 엄청 자랑스러워 하기 때문에

타국을 맨날 깔보는 게 일상이고,
일본철도는 세계에서 가장 안전하고 정확하다고 입버릇처럼 되뇌이고는 함
그런데 그런 일본에서 며칠 전 철도사고가 일어났다는데 대체 무슨 일일까?

이번달 5일 오후 9시 반 경 열심히 철로를 달리고 있던 JR 도카이도선의 한 열차

시속 80km로 주행 중에 전주(電柱)와 충돌하는 사고가 일어났음

이런 무지막지한 것과 충돌했으니

당연히 열차는 박살이 났고

엄청난 충격과 스파크에 승객들도 죽음의 공포를 느꼈다고 함

손잡이는 다 떨어지고 천장도 파손될 정도의 충돌

거기다 정전까지 일어나 실내는 어둡고 에어컨은 가동불가

하필 불꽃놀이 때문에 사고 차량에는 1500명 정도의 승객이 타고 있었고

에어컨도 켜지 못하는 열차 내부는 그야말로 "찜통" 같은 상황이었다고 함

사고 열차에 탑승중이던 스시녀의 증언에 따르면 나중에 창문을 열었지만 그래도 너무 더워서 땀에 흠뻑 젖었다는데...
음... 여튼

타고 있던 꼬맹이도 지쳐 쓰러지는 등 덥기는 엄청 더웠나 봄

사고가 일어난 건 9시 반이지만 피난 유도는 0시가 지나서야 시작됐고

그때까지 더위와 싸우며 지쳐있던 사람들은 지친 몸을 이끌고 도보로 탈출해야만 했다고 함

너무 더워서 열중증으로 쓰러진 사람도 있고

승객 3명 부상에 몸상태가 나쁜 사람만 9명 등 피해자가 속출한 이번 사고...

새벽이 넘어서 탈출했다보니 주변 택시 정류장은 기나긴 행렬이 가득했고

열차 사고로 다른 열차들도 영향을 받아서

일대의 15만 명이 불편을 겪었다고 함

대체 왜 전주가 기울어져서 열차와 충돌하게 된걸까?
철도 강국 일본이라면 당연히 이유를 알지 않을까?

하지만 사실 그런 건 없었고
JP동일본은 사고 3일전에 실시한 점검에서는 이상이 없었다는 점만 강조하며

아직도 원인을 밝혀내지 못했다고 함...

근데 진짜 웃긴 건 따로 있음

얼마전에 대만 타이중에서 전철이 앞에 쓰러져있던 크레인에 충돌한 사고 있었는데
한국에서도 보도가 될 정도로 황당한 사건이었기 때문에 많이들 기억하고 있을 거임

당연히 일본에서도 보도가 됐었는데 그 때 일본인들 반응이
